One Critical, One Stable Following Morning Double Shooting Near Virginia Intersection: Police

Two people were hospitalized - one in critical condition - following a double shooting near a busy Alexandria intersection, police say.

Officers responded at around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning to the area of North Fayette Street and Wythe Street, where they found two minors inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

They were located in the 1100 block of Wythe Street.

Two were taken to the hospital, and were listed in critical and stable condition on Saturday afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation. No details about the victims or possible suspect have been released by the police.
